Keeping up with the Williams Family

Well, it have been awhile since I updated our news blog so I thought I would let you all know how things are going.  Payton is continuing to do very well since her hospital stay at Christmas time.  She has not been back in the hospital and has even been able to stop taking one of her medications.  We are so thankful for what God has done for her! 

We continue to homeschool both Payton and Zane.  It started out due to necessity because Payton could not attend public school but now we love it.  It is really nice to have a flexible schedule and to take a day off here and there as well as working ahead when we want.  The kids are enjoying it as well.  Payton is not where she can go back to school next year so we will be continuing with homeschooling her in the 9th grade.  Zane has decided that he wants to stay with the homeschooling as well for next year so it looks like I will be “teacher mom” again next year.

Tim is still working at UPS at night to get health insurance for us.  He is exhausted and probably will not be able to do it much longer and continue with pastoring the church.  We do not know yet what we will do.  The general church is working on some health insurance stuff but right now it is all so expensive.  Our choices are pay about half our salary towards insurance and be fairly rested (as much as pastors families are) or Tim be exhausted and stay working at UPS at night and get FREE insurance.  It is really a difficult spot to be in!!

Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers for our family and especially for Payton.  We will keep you updated as things continue and hopefully the news on Payton will remain positive and uneventful.
